- If your account is not about yourself make a Facebook page for it. Host small events such as contests and stuff of the sort. Make it look like your followers get a lot attention so more people follow you.
- Make a Kik for your account and advertise it on your Instagram and Facebook page. You can use Kik just to chat or for contests and events as well.
- Tag people that you may not know but have some connection to your picture or account so they may follow you or give a shoutout.
- Don't post photos all in one day, make people get excited for your next post.
- Check who's liking your photos. Like their photos. Select a few people following you, and like and comment on theirs. Respond to comments left on your photos.
- Make sure you are following less people than are following you. You want a good ratio.
- Try to learn how to make edits. People will ask you how you make the edits, and most likely share your account with their friends.
